Why Join AARST?

AARST is the nation’s professional organization for individuals performing indoor radon measurements, radon mitigation services, operating analytical laboratories, conducting device calibrations, performing scientific research and managing initiatives to lower radon-induced lung cancer. As Radon Professionals Saving Lives, AARST Members work together to increase public awareness and grow their businesses!

AARST is not a certification program and does not certify radon professionals.

As an AARST member, you are affiliated with the ANSI-Accredited national radon standards-making body which is recognized by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), state radon programs and other radon professional organizations around the world.

AARST Membership keeps you abreast of the latest developments in the dynamic field of indoor radon detection and reduction. Otherwise, it is difficult to stay informed of the latest trends and policy initiatives.  For example:

  • The AARST National Radon Standards Consortium has published 9 ANSI-Accredited Standards.
  • Our Capitol Hill presence has saved the State Indoor Radon Grants from budget cuts multiple times.
  • AARST Public Policy Initiatives helped pass state radon awareness laws.
  • The Annual International Radon Symposium delivers continuing education and research presentations.
  • Local Chapters engage in outreach activities that keep your phone ringing.

Participation in these and other important AARST activities is important to your success.

A single AARST Membership is available for a $195 annual fee. Discounts are available when purchasing multiple Memberships.
